The UCF CECS BattleBots-IQ Camp is taught by Brett "Buzz" Dawson. Buzz is a BattleBots competitor as well as an announcer & technical color-commentator for the national BattleBots IQ and regional FIRST competitions.

Classes are one week long, from 9am - 4pm, Monday through Friday and will be held in room 205 of UCF's Engineering II building. Attendees will be introduced to wiring electrical systems, 3D design, motors, pneumatics, and the physics principles involved. By the last day of class, the students (in teams of two) will have built a 12 lb. robot from scratch. Friday, the bots will compete in a fun task-based game that everybody is welcome to attend.
